Who handles your data

The data controller is Azzurra Angius. She runs this site and the make-up and hair styling services described on it. For any question about this notice, or to exercise the rights described below, you can write to the address below.

What I collect, and when

I collect nothing while you are simply reading the site. Data only arrives when you send it, on three occasions.

When you write from the contact form

Name, email address, phone number and the text of your message. They are used to reply to you: the legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to a contract. The message is stored and also reaches me by email.

When you book an appointment

On top of your contact details: the date and time you chose, the place, the service and the number of people. They are used to arrange the appointment — this is performance of a contract. You get a confirmation email and so do I.

If you leave a review

The reviews published on this site are transcribed from WhatsApp messages or Airbnb reviews, and carry only the text, the first name and the source: never the phone number, never the original image. When the message comes from a private conversation I publish it only with your consent, and you can ask me to take it down at any time.

Visit statistics

I use Google Analytics to see which pages are read, and only if you accept it from the banner: until you choose, or if you decline, no statistics are collected. The details are on the cookie page.

Who it is shared with

I do not sell your data and I do not pass it to anyone. To run the site I do rely on suppliers who process it on my behalf, as processors:

• MongoDB Atlas — the database where messages and bookings are kept.
• Google (Gmail) — sending the notification and confirmation emails.
• Cloudinary — the photographs published on the site.
• Google Analytics — visit statistics, active only with your consent.
• Stripe — when a service is paid online. Card details are handled by Stripe directly: they never pass through this site and I never see them.

Some of these suppliers are based outside the European Union. The transfer takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long I keep it

Messages from the contact form are kept as long as they are needed to handle the request, and in any case no longer than two years. Booking data is kept for the period required by accounting and tax obligations. Reviews stay while they are published, and disappear when you ask me to remove them.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, receive it in a machine-readable format, or object to the processing. An email to the address above is enough: I reply within a month. If you believe your data is being handled improperly you can contact the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Minors

Services can be booked from the age of 18. I do not knowingly collect data from minors: if you notice that it has happened, write to me and I will delete it.
